dostana-gay tana

its all about karan johar.
he, himself and his surrounding. first half is fine. good humour. very well written scenes. abhisekh bachan has done great job in first half. but the film especially second half lacks the real touch and human emotions. the friendship shown surfacely is over narrated in deeper meaning. bobby deol as always is misused and badly treated. siddarth anand's debut is fine. jonh abhram's physique is far better than his acting, but once again his photographer character after garam masala helped him to improve his acting potetialities.
time pass. if possible just leave after intermission to have good feelings and regret leaving it.

bond-james bond

the last james bond film, qauntum of solace got theatrical opening this week with great response. the is well shot than earlier bond films. daniel craig has done temendous job.
film will be a smash hit.

Bond isn't just back in the cinema - he's back on consoles too.

Making up for the lack of a licensed game for the previous movie, this first-person shooter combines plot lines and set pieces from both Casino Royale and 007's latest adventure, with the added bonus of outtakes from both movies being fully playable in the game.

Featuring accurately rendered faces of every major character in the movie, including Daniel Craig and Judi Dench, the game uses the same graphics engine and control system as Call Of Duty 4.

At times, it plays a little like an elaborate add-on for Activision's classic shooter, particularly in multiplayer mode, but there is at least a greater sense of Ian Fleming's espionage action during the game's one-player option.

A gripping train-top shootout sequence is a particular highlight that Cubby Broccoli would surely have approved of.

While it may not be quite as much fun as Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64 - the classic 90s Bond game that all others are judged by - this is a solid, modern shoot 'em up that certainly does justice to the licence.

fashion-face on

page 3 was great.
corporate was worthy.
chandni bar is a classic.
fashion is a shit.

don't know what's wrong with bhandarker. what was he doing from last three years. i know just promoting the film.
very poor storyline and weak screenpaly. characterisation is very flat. nothing more than ramp and gays. is there these two only in fashion world?
where are brands, ads, movies, high class prostitution, lesbians, rape, sex abuse, diseases, family crisis?
hey can anyone tell me what is panas? why so high lighted? is there only one modelling agency in mumbai? is there no alternative for a model.
ok who is going to tell the final answer "model needs an agency or vice-versa?" i m sure madhur is confused wethear he has to make a realistic cinema or a hit flick. he has lost the both. he has to learn from his earlier films that films are mirrors of society.

priyanka is worst from beginning to end. a struggling model to a star. same physique, same look. she was herself a supermodel and he hasn't maintained her figure. mugda godse is perfect for both figure and performance. kangana is ok though cliche. priyanka, leave bollywood plz, there are many in line who are ready to work hard as well in addtion to just look pretty.
music is bakwas. costume designing is ok. cinematography is ..... i forgot.


watch this film when ur television cable is not working and u r missing ftv.

heroes-no villians

samir karnik's third venture HEROES is quite ok comparing to his earlier disaster KYUN HO GAYA NA. though the story and plots are very weak the screenplay is fine and catchy. characters are very superficial, boneless. the youths are good.
salman, sunny, bobby, riya esn, amrita arora, mithun da, all are wasted.
sohail and priety have done well. music is ok. cinematography is weak. don't know it is an accident or designed, the lightings are very poor.
film is titled heroes though there is not a single registered villian. patritism is over mentioned and over sensenalised. irritating sometime.

overall-semihit. salman is there. so could be hit. film's initial is good.

यस पटककै बहुप्रतिक्षित चलचित्र, आज आएर मात्र हेर्ने मौका मिल्यो। भुवन के.सी. को "म... तिमी बिना मरिहाल्छु"। बिज्ञापन, भुवन के.सी. को निर्माण र नेपाली चलचित्रप्रति नेपाली दर्शकको बढ्दो चासो, र केही चलचित्र जगतसंग जोडिएका केही अन्य मसला, यी सबैले यो चलचित्रलाई बहुप्रतिक्षित त बनायो तर, यसले जति माया दर्शकको पायो, त्यति चलचित्र समिक्षक र रंग पत्रकारको भने पाएन भन्ने जस्तो स्थिति, यो सिनेमा चलेको आज दोस्रो हप्तामा आइपुग्दा सम्मको चर्चाले देखाउँछ।

देशका बिभिन्न राष्ट्रिय स्तरका संचार माध्यम र आजसम्म "नेपाली चलचित्र समिक्षा" भनेर कहिल्यै छुट्टै स्तम्भ नराखेका राष्ट्रिय पत्रिका समेतले यो चलचित्रको समिक्षा तयार पारे र पाठक/स्रोता समक्ष प्रस्तुत गरे। प्राय कुनै पनि समिक्षाले यो राम्रो चलचित्र हो भनेर भनेका छैनन्। तर जब कुनै दर्शकले फोन गरेर अथवा अन्य कुनै माध्यमबाट प्रतिक्रिया दिन्छन्, सम्भवत: नेपाली चलचित्रका दर्शकको लागि यो चलचित्रले असन्तुष्टी प्रदान गरेको पढ्न पाइएको छैन। यो के हो त? भुवन के.सी. ले भने जस्तो "पुर्वाग्रही" सोचले गर्दा गरिएको समिक्षा अथवा निश्पक्ष समालोचना। यसलाई यहाँ केहि बेर मनन गरौं।

सबै भन्दा ठुलो कुरो भनेको हेर्ने आँखा हो। यौटा व्यक्तिले कुनै चिजलाई कुन दृष्टिले हेर्छ? उसको समिक्षा, उसको त्यहि दृष्टिको उपजभन्दा अरु केहि होइन भन्दा यहाँ हिचकिचाउनु पर्ने कुनै कारण नै देखिँदैन। कुनै समिक्षकले यौटा चलचित्रलाई ०/४ (चारमा सुन्य) अंक दिएर बेकार भन्ने अधिकार तब प्राप्त गर्दछ, जब उसको हेर्ने आँखाले सफा मन र पुर्वाग्रह बिनाको दृष्टिशक्तिको प्रयोग गरि आफ्नो दृष्टिकोणलाई शब्दकृत गर्दछ। अन्यथा उसलाई कुनै हक हुँदैन, त्यसको फैसला गरेर, दर्शकलाई दिग्भ्रमित तुल्याउने।

क्रिटिसिज्मको पनि हद हुन्छ। यदि तपाई कुनै चलचित्रलाई क्रिटिसिज्मको आँखाले हेर्नु हुन्छ त तपाई त्यसमा खोटै खोट पाउनुहुन्छ। यो चलचित्रको मात्र कुरा होइन। जुनसुकै क्षेत्रमा पनि लागु हुने कुरा हो। आँखामा रातो चस्मा लगाएर हेरेपछि निश्चल/सेतो दुध पनि दुषित र रक्ताम्य देखिन्छ। तपाईको जनताको आँफुलाई जुनसुकै आँखा भनेर परिभाषित गर्नुस (यो उदाहरणले तपाईको तेस्रो आँखा भन्ने सगरमाथा च्यानलसंग कुनै प्रत्यक्ष सरोकार राख्दैन), त्यो आँखा नै धुलाम्य छ भने सारा संसार नै धुलाम्य देखिन्छ। नामको "म" को पछाडि किन तीन वटा "..." राख्यो भन्ने बाट सुरु भएको क्रिटिसिज्म, डबलपार्ट र झरना थापाको ओभरएक्टिङ्ग(अतिरञ्जित अभिनय) सम्म पुग्छ। ओभर एक्टिङ्ग भनेको के हो? साहरुख खानको प्राय: जसो चलचित्रमा स्पष्ट ओभरएक्टिङ्ग देखिँदा त उनि संसारकै ठुलो चलचित्र उद्योगको बादशाह कहलिन्छन्। हामीमा त अझै चलचित्रको क्षेत्रमा निपुणता हासिल गर्नै बाँकि छ।

अब फिल्म भित्र नै प्रवेश गरौं। चलचित्रको कथाबस्तु बास्तवमै सामान्य हो। तर यो सामान्य कथामा असामान्य गुदि खोज्न सक्नु नै कला हो। "त्यहाँ भुवनलाई आर्मी नबनाएर अरु रुपमा देखाइ बिदेशिएको बनाएपनि त्यसले फरक पार्ने छैन", भनेका पनि सुनिए। यो गलत पनि होइन। किन भने कथाको मुख्य केन्द्रबिन्दु भनेको सम्पति मोह र रगत र गैर रगतको नाताको बिचको आत्मियता हो। र पोष्टरमा भुवनले आर्मीलाई नै बढी फोकस गरेका छन। तर यदि कसैको सोच नै गलत छ भने यसमा केहि लाग्दैन। अहिले सम्म नेपाली चलचित्रले शान्तिसेनामा गएका नेपाली सेनाको कथा प्रस्तुत गर्ने सकेको छ? कंगो जस्तो देशको परिस्थितिलाई नेपाली पर्दामा उतार्न सकेको छ? सबैलाई थाहा छ, यो अहिले सम्म भएको छैन। यस चलचित्रमा यदि बास्तविक रुपमा नै कंगो देखाउन चाहने हो भने, त्यहाँको जनता र उनिहरुको नेपाली क्याम्पसंगको घनिष्टतालाई देखाउन सकिन्थ्यो। त्यो चाहिँ यसमा नपुगेकै हो। किन भने नेपाली सेनासंग त्यहाँका बिद्रोहीको भन्दा त्यहाँका जनतासंगको सामिप्यता बढि छ भनेर त संचार माध्यमले देखाइसकेका छन। तर पनि फिल्ममा जति देखाइएको छ, फिल्मको कथाको प्रमुखता अर्कै रहेकोले त्यसलाई नपुग भन्नु गलत हुनेछ।

अभिनय कौशलताको कुरा गर्दा यो चलचित्र बास्तवमै सफल चलचित्र हो। यसको निर्देशन पक्ष, छायाँकन पक्ष सबै सबल( पुर्ण नभएपनि त्यो अहिलेसम्मलाई पर्याप्त नै हो) छन। यसको पात्र चयन पनि निकै नै सबल देखिन्छ। बाल कलाकारले गरेको अभिनय पनि यसको अर्को गुनिलो पक्ष हो। तर बालकलाकार सुजल नेपालको डाइलग डेलिभरी(संवाद) भने त्यति सक्षम हो भन्न मिल्दैन।

चलचित्रको अर्को प्रमुख पक्ष हो, नायिका झरना थापाको दोहोरो भुमिका। उनि मरिन् तर मरिनन् पनि। जसरी उनको दोस्रो रुपमा उनकि सहोदर बहिनीलाई प्रस्तुत गरिएको छ, यो एकप्रकारले उहि पुराना नेपाली चलचित्रको पुच्छर समाउने खालको हो भनेर प्रतिक्रिया पनि दिन सकिन्छ। तर तपाई आफ्नो हेराईलाई परिवर्तन गरेर हेर्नुस। माओवादी बिद्रोही भएकाले बहिनी चाहिँ प्रतिकार गर्न र न्यायको लागि लड्न सक्षम देखाउनु पटकथाको न्यायोचित पक्ष देखिन्छ। र अन्तयमा यौटा सैनिक र बिद्रोही सेनाको विवाह हुन्छ। यो यौटा बेग्लै लक्षण बोकेको सिन सम्योजन हो। यसले ठुलो संम्भावना बोकेको छ बर्तमान राजनैतिक परिवर्तनसंग आएका मुद्दाहरुमा।

तर यो चलचित्रको खल्लो लाग्दो प्रस्तुति भनेको यसको द्वन्द हो जस्तो लाग्छ। आर्मीको कौशलता देखाउन भने द्वन्द निर्देशक चुकेका छन। उहि पुरानो मुक्कामुक्की द्वन्द भने ठिकै हो कि!

चलचित्रको गीति पक्ष र यससंग गाँसिएका सबैलाई सादुबाद दिनै पर्छ। नेपाली सिनेमाले यति उत्कृष्ट संगितलाई सिर्जित गर्न सक्दो रहेछ। यसमा राखिएको आइटम(Item) बाहेक सबै चलचित्रका लागि मखमलीको फुलको मालाले सजाएजस्तै छन्। तर त्यो आइटमको कोरियोग्राफीमा पुजनाको प्रस्तुति चाहिँ नेपाली चलचित्रको अर्को आशलाग्दो भविष्य हो। उनको नृत्य कौशलतालाई ४.५/५।

धेरै छन् चलचित्रको समिक्षा गर्दा खेरी छुनु पर्ने क्षेत्रहरु। तर यहाँ त्यो सम्भव रहेन। तर अन्त्यमा अर्को यौटा कुरा। सफलतालाई कसरी परिभाषित गर्ने। आधुनिक नेपाली चलचित्रमा सबैभन्दा सफल चलचित्र भनेको विना कुनै संकोच भुषण दाहालको "कागबेनी" नै हो। तर भुवन के.सी नेपाली चलचित्रका लागि उत्कृष्ट चलचित्र दिने निर्माता पनि हुन् भनेर इन्कार गर्न मिल्दै मिल्दैन। उनका अघिल्ला प्रस्तुतिका रुपमा रहेका "करोडपति" र "नेपाली बाबु" लाई पछ्याउने हो भने, यो चलचित्र पनि त्यहि अंकभारको चलचित्र हो। तत्कालिन समयमा ति चलचित्र नेपाली सिनेमा जगतकै अब्बल चलचित्र हुन। सो यो चलचित्र पनि अहिलेसम्मको चलचित्र मुल्याङ्कनमा अब्बल चलचित्र भन्नु पर्दछ। कोही कक्षामा सँधै दोस्रो पोजिसनमा रहन्छ भने उसकालागि सबै भन्दा पहिलो सफलता भनेको उसले सँधै दोस्रो स्थानलाई कायम गर्न सक्नु। भुवन, त्यही स्थायित्वको कुरामा यस चलचित्रबाट सफल छन्। यो भन्दा कुनै अत्युक्ति होला जस्तो मलाई लाग्दैन।

अझै नेपाली चलचित्रलाई बलिउड र हलिउडसंग तुलना गर्न मिल्ने अवस्था छैन। अन्तराष्ट्रिय बजारमा डलर भाउ बढ्यो भने चालिस लाखको लगानी सोझै पचास लाखमा पुग्छ, तर पनि नेपाली निर्माता निर्देशक हतोस्साहित छैनन। नेपाली चलचित्र आँफनो ठाउँमा पनि कमजोर कथाबस्तु र प्रस्तुतिबाट पिल्सिएको अवस्थामा आएको यो चलचित्रलाई "मेरोनेपालमा डट कमले " सिफारिस गर्छ कि तपाई जानुस र पैसा तिरेर यसलाई हेर्नुस, यदि तपाई नेपाली चलचित्र हेर्नु पर्छ भन्ने मान्यता राख्नुहुन्छ भने। यौटा बहुप्रतिक्षित हिन्दी चलचित्रको दोस्रो हप्तामा आइपुग्दा कति दर्शक हुन्छन हलमा, खोजी गर्नुस, अनि यो चलचित्रको अहिलेको स्थिति हेर्नुस, सफलता त्यसैबाट छर्लङ्ग हुनेछ।

अब भुवनको अर्को चलचित्र डिजिटल प्रविधिमा होस्। त्यसपछि समग्र नेपालीलाई नै त्यसले तान्ने छ। भुवनले भने जस्तै त्यो चलचित्र मर्डर (हलिउडको अन्फेथफुलको नक्कल) जस्तो नेपाली समाजको भन्दा पृथक कथाबस्तु होस्, यसको लागि शुभकामना छ। (मर्डर भनेर उनले नै नाम लिएकाले मात्र यहाँ लेखिएको हो।)

fcuk them all. u need just creativity and a capturing machine. be it a 1.3,egapixel mobile camera. u need to have guts to write, visualise, plan, manage and edit the visualisations in your mind.

sanosansar-thulo performance

debutant theatre actor mahesh shakya urf karma is great.
Namrata is not so gud. da other guys are of same kind. it won't seem this movie will work with only few old actors in small roles.
much old and hyped nir shah, arjun shrestha are simply underrated.

even in its promo, no one seems gud. n i request other so-called music video makers, plz dont try to make nepali movies. cuz u ppl aren't even making gud music vdos, making movie is much vast than that.

sanosansar-dherai sano to the expectation

Sano Sansar - Sano Acting, Sano Music, Sano Creativity, Sano Parda Ko Lagi Thik

Promoted as the Nepal's second HD movie, sano sansar seems won't work with the Nepali audience. Produced by same production house that did Kagbeni, Quest Entertainment are looking helpless in their effort to make a good new generation movie.




With release of the audio album of the movie and few music videos out of television channels, SANO SANSAR has shown almost half of their work, which seems its NOT GOOD. The actors on videos still look more like music video models without any expressions than actresses. On the other hand, leaving one or two, rest of other numbers sound too bad for your ears.



In video clips taken from the movie and kept on the music videos, most of them still have no expression. So what do they call it - modelling or acting ? If they say its a pure acting then, so called qualityless nepali film industry have excellent actors then in Sano Sansar.



Those getting involved in the next gen nepali movies should realized that, whether its an HD or 16mm, only good movie works. And just a High Definition camera doesn't make a good movie. Since, movie making is a team effort, every single member in that team should be a perfectionist to finally come out with something good.



And lastly, We hope to see no more movies directed by Alok Nemang, because even few movie shots of the music in the music video proves that he isn't yet ready to direct a movie. So, Mr. director, keep your work limited to the small screen.

not so good compared to the 1st one but again not so much bad a well. 1st half highly disappoints but the second half manages.
timepass. ajaydevgan has improved his sense of comic timinf. rest are ok only.
above average.
missed paresh rawal and sharman joshi. anyway watch once for making power and filmy touch.

kidnap-kid's nap

sanjay gadvi-dhoom fame directed this. i don't believe. but i believed it was his luck having dhoom especially 2nd part.
imran's character and performance is forceful. may be 1st choice shahid would have been better. sanjay is fine. minisha is old in teens look. just maintaining figure doesn't make one pretty and young.
watch it if u want to go for horror flick.

drona-50 crore waste

50 crore project with foreign crews and top starcast has nothing meaty. no story at all. abhisek bachan is worst till date. don't watch.
u will be in hell for 2 and half hours.

excellent first half. very good b/g score. taut editing. great performance. well shot action scenes.
sluggish second half. good use of question and answer patterns. any way time pass.
don't expect much when u get out for popcorn and coffee.

love story 2050

starting from the scripting and casting phase this film has been in highlights of the major film medias from 3 years now. right from the controversy of casting kareena then replacing by priyanka and also being a launchpad for son harman baweja, director /producer harry baweja invested lot of time and huge budget in the making of this movie.
a si-fi set in mumbai after 50 years is the key idea of the film. though the special effets are good and somewhere acceptable in terms of indian cinema, other elements of filmmaking lack.
characterisation, pace, mood, dialouges, conflicts are very weak. moreever harman's performance is also very bad. dance is forceful but still ok. body language seems good. needs to join acting course or theatre soon. priyanka is as always overstated and smiles only. she hardly performs. music is weak and on surface only. second half was supposed to be an intense love drama but the story is rather diverted to special effects and technology that is going to happen after 50 years. finally viewer leave the story and cannot identify with the lead characters and get stuck with the same repeated shots of the car flying and the long high angle shot of special effect generated island. at all film is a pakau.
get a paracetamol tablet if u r planning to have a look.

jane tu......ya jane na

aamir khan's production "jane tu....." is very well written teenage love flick with lots of new experiments and new subplots in the world of fiction. though same old story line, fantastic characters, unusual story telling way, different treatment, heart touching music, time pass lyrics and finally great deal of promotion helped it to stand out in the box office leaving "love story 2050" back behind.
film has great deal of romance, humour, youth energy and many more. watch it to enjoy it.though film is a hit, aamir's cousin emran khan has not left so much great impression of stardom. but after all a hit is a hit and a hit is a hit only. so emran is coming on the way. let's wait.

tasand-100% bakwas

the basic fact about a film is reality. though a fiction, every story or a film should have something believeable. the latest Yashraj film's production Tasand is a complete nonsense. writer tried to present in a new way but the stale story simply didnot supported him. as usual production is great and the starcast is 4 star but once again it is proved starcast only cannot save the producer.
music is worst ever heard from yash raj banner. locations quite good. lyrics j paye tehi (just ridiculous). performance- anil is nil, akhsay is funny and timepast, saif carried well, kareena irritates. any way we loved her in bikini.
much more was expected from yash raj and adi chopra.

Ok. let's start with what is film. Differece between film, movie and cinema. Film is simply related with the negative made up of chemicals highly reactable to light. The film is exposed to light inorder to get the image of the object. Later the film is converted to the positive through chemical reactions.

Movie is making all the film images into motion so that it look like something realistic and happening. the motion of these images or film gives the term Motion Picture. The effects of the slow or fast motion are done through the speed of the film per second.

Cinema is related to the industrial aspect of the movie making business. The place where the motion picture or a movie is shown.

Nepali Film Industry

All Nepalese knows the condition of Nepali Film Industry.And It's a fact that less than 10% Nepalese watch Nepali movies.Why is it so???Because most of that Nepali movies are of very low quality in comparison to other.But when we say it,all people related to Nepali film industry get angry.They says that,Please don't compare with others,because they invest a lot,but we have a limited budget.So it has become impossible to produce a good quality film......OK may be it's a problem for producer.But I think film will become good when it has the quality in it's content...........OK forget it......
Once I've interviewed with a Nepali film star "Simant Udas".Well,Simant Udas is a Nepali actor,his first film was ' अवतार '.And now he has become a producer also.I've knew many things from him about Kollywood [Nepali Film Industry].So,take a look on followings.....
